WEEDS IN COMMON AREA LANDSCAPE AREAS

We have received several calls from homeowners regarding weeds on the common area, Association maintained slopes. Unfortunately with all of the rain this year coupled with Spring fertilization and the warmer weather, it's created the "perfect storm" for weed growth.
Property Management Professionals, the Plum Canyon Landscape Committee and Gothic Grounds Management are working diligently to identify and remove all of the weeds from the Association's landscaped areas. Gothic Grounds Management has dedicated additional crews to resolve the infestation of weeds and they will continue to work diligently until all of the weeds have been removed.

  1. I was wondering what the policy is for the yards of foreclosures. I'm seeing several yards that aren't being cared for in recently abandoned or foreclosed homes. I thought the HOA was supposed to make sure the banks maintained the yards.

    Thank you

  2. D- The Association follows the adopted violation policy in dealing with front yards that are not being maintained, whether it is a foreclosure, a renter or a homeowner that is not properly maintaining their front yard. This includes issuing warning letters, calling the owners to hearing in front of the Board of Directors and fines. Banks that take over properties are considered the owners and must follow the rules set forth in the Association's governing documents or they are called to hearing and fined. I can assure you that Property Management Professionals is enforcing the violation and fining policy on behalf of the Association for properties not in compliance. I hope that answers your question.
